The International Week on Sustainability (or iWeek), hosted by the Faculty of Business & Economics of the University of Antwerp, is a unique programme where students, academic and practitioners from all 5 continents come together to discuss the importance of sustainability in business and economics. Over the years, this intense, one week programme has been attended well over 160 Belgian and 180 international student. This year, we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the I-week.

Zowel Vera als dochter Eva studeerden TEW: bedrijfskunde. Vera studeerde in 1989 af aan het toenmalige UFSIA, Eva in 2019 aan UAntwerpen. Eva lanceerde deze maand de People Planet Profit Podcast, waarin ze rolmodellen interviewt die zich inzetten om bedrijven duurzamer te maken. Zo hoopt anderen te inspireren om actie te ondernemen.
On Thursday 29 April 2021, the Faculty of Business and Economics hosted its first ever online edition of the Business Update session ‘Why sustainability is inevitable?’. The general consensus of the evening was not that we should ask ourselves if and why sustainability is inevitable, but that it simply already is!
