Code of conduct

Good agreements make good blogfriends

Welcome to the Blog of Management Information Systems.

We are keen to hear your opinions and are open for discussion. Questions, comments and constructive feedback are all welcome. Please take into account that the comments posted here by visitors do not necessarily reflect the views of the University of Antwerp. Nor can the University of Antwerp be held liable for the factual accuracy of comments posted.

We would like to keep the discussion constructive, so we have drawn up the following code of conduct:

Always be respectful

Do not use offensive, threatening, hurtful or racist language. We do not provide a platform for incitements of hatred or violence, fraud, deception or illegal acts. The publication of private details is also forbidden.

Do not advertise

This is not a place for commercial messages, contests, requests for donations or collecting links (linkbaiting: placing a link in your comment in order to direct people to your own website). Any other comments which have nothing to do with the University of Antwerp will also be removed immediately.

Show who you are

Anonymous messages or messages posted under an assumed name are not permitted and will be deleted.

Respect copyright

Respect the rights of others and do not use texts or images without their owners’ permission.

Keep the atmosphere constructive

It is not permitted to provoke other users in order to disrupt the atmosphere or a discussion. Nonsensical comments and repeated messages will also be removed.

If you post a comment which does not comply with the rules above, the University of Antwerp reserves the right to delete it.
