Virtual physiology classes for our students

Our physiology practical classes are typically very hands-on. For example, our students use transducers to measure muscle contraction or perform Electrocardiography (ECG) measurements. However, due to the Coronavirus, we had to cancel all our practical classes.

But, Marc Demolder in our faculty has set up state-of-the-art virtual practical classes for our 1 Ba Pharmacology students! By including example data into the lab exercises of the software program KuraCloud from ADInstruments, our students can now do virtual physiology practical classes. They can do this any time, anywhere, and just by using an iPad, PC or iPhone.

The company ADInstruments quickly picked up on this idea and they made it a global solution for their customers worldwide.
