What do we stand for as a university?
In November 2023, UAntwerp presented its renewed mission and vision, together with a number of clear lines of strength. They give direction to what we stand for as a university and, above all, to how we put this into practice together every day. Watch this video to discover what UAntwerp stands for.

Mission in motion: from vision to practice
With the Mission in Motion campaign, we’re once again putting our mission, vision and lines of strength in the spotlight – not as lofty statements on paper, but as something that’s often already present in our daily work.
Over the past years, this has taken shape in various ways:
- A video showing what UAntwerp stands for today.
- Testimonials from staff members who feel empowered in their daily work, for example by combining work and study, creating inclusive buildings, collaborating with the Port of Antwerp, or supporting international students.
