In the section ‘The Feather’, a staff member puts a colleague in the spotlight. This time, Nadia Boutrfass passes the compliment to Elio Berardocco, Head Purchasing Office.
Dear Elio
It’s with great pleasure that I pass The feather on to you. You truly deserve this recognition because you’re always kind, friendly and incredibly helpful.
Whenever there’s a delivery for the cleaning storeroom and I’m not around, you call me straight away. This gives me the confidence of knowing I can always rely on you. Another great example of this is the way you made sure our washing machine was moved from Building M.G to Building M.A. At first, it seemed impossible, but thanks to your efforts it was sorted out after all – which makes our work so much easier.
You’re also someone who is always respectful. If the floor has just been mopped, you wouldn’t dream of walking across it. That says a lot about your character. I’m certain that you’re also a fantastic supervisor and that your team couldn’t wish for a better ‘boss’. You show appreciation, and I suspect that this doesn’t only apply to the cleaning staff.
In short: you’re a true gem, Elio. Thank you for everything you do for me and my colleagues!
