On Saturday 9 August 2025, UAntwerp participated in Antwerp Pride, as per yearly tradition. This time, the personalised float was shared with AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts Antwerp, Antwerp Maritime Academy (HZS) and KdG University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
This year Antwerp Pride was dedicated to the theme ‘Do Not Just March‘ with the subtitle ‘Listen. Act. Commit.’ With this, we want to call on everyone who supports the rainbow community to consciously commit to protecting the rights our community has gained over the past decades, and to take collective steps toward the future.
Now more than ever is the time to show solidarity — within our own community, but also beyond it and on an international scale. UAntwerp also made itself heard for an inclusive community and equality, together with AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts Antwerp, Antwerp Maritime Academy (HZS) and KdG University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
