Building Q of Campus Drie Eiken was the setting for our New Year’s reception this year. Almost a thousand of us raised our glasses to what 2024 will bring, while 20 highlights from 20 years of the University of Antwerp were displayed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We began together with Rector Herman Van Goethem and the four vice-rectors in the Fernand Ned\u00e9e lecture hall. Just as in the popular tv talkshow ‘Only Elvis remains\u2019, each of them was allowed to choose a video clip which they then discussed with presenter Anke Verschueren. Afterwards, the hall and foyer of Building Q filled up for snacks, drinks and socialising. During the reception, you could also take a closer look at the exhibition featuring 20 highlights from 20 years of UAntwerp. This exhibition will be on display on campus in the coming months, more info to follow later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During registration for the reception, all participants were given the opportunity to share their highlight from the past 20 years. That led to this lovely summary of 20 years of UAntwerp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
