Anja Hoffmann graduated from the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences (Germany) in Technical Translation in German, Spanish, and Russian and holds a PhD from the University of Granada (Spain) in Translation Studies. She has more than ten years of experience working in international relations in higher education, her experience covering different areas in the field. Her professional career in international relations started in 2006 at the International Relations Office of the University of Granada. There she was the Head of the Information, Documentation and Marketing Department as well as the Head of the Mobility Department coordinating several educational programmes for the mobility of students and staff (both incoming and outgoing). In 2012, she started working at the International Relations Office of the University of Graz, Austria, being responsible for Joint Degree programme management. In 2014, Anja changed to the Student Mobility Department within the International Relations Office, managing student mobility in different programmes, including Erasmus Mundus and Erasmus+ (mobility with Erasmus+ programme and partner countries). Since May 2018, she has been working again in Joint Degree programme management. In addition to the above, Anja has participated in several international educational projects for the development of higher education, both as a manager and trainer.
