Welcome to ARCHES Students<\/em>, a blog curated by students from the Heritage Studies and Conservation-Restoration programs at the University of Antwerp. Both programs integrate research and outreach, and this platform showcases some of the results of those efforts. Authors are bachelor and master students and researchers from the ARCHES PhD program.<\/p>\n ARCHES \u2014 AntweRp Cultural HEritage Sciences<\/em> \u2014 is a research group within the Faculty of Design Sciences, closely linked to the educational tracks in Conservation-Restoration and Heritage Studies. The name ARCHES not only references the Gothic arches in the inner courtyard of our campus, but also symbolizes the group\u2019s mission: to build bridges between diverse scientific disciplines.<\/p>\n Cultural heritage sciences serve as an umbrella for a wide range of transdisciplinary research aimed at advancing the conservation of both tangible and intangible heritage.
