This is the website of the research group ‘Environmental Economics’ at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. We are a group of researchers – doctoral, postdoctoral and professors – studying the interaction between the economy and the environment. We cover a whole range of topics within the broad field of sustainability economics: from techno-economic assessments of clean technologies and the valuation of ecosystem services, down to climate change impact assessments. We do this in collaboration with other departments, faculties and universities. With our research we aim to support decision making, contribute to national and international research projects and publish scientific articles.
With this blog we would like to inform those interested – both within and beyond academics – of our ongoing research, published works and current events within the field.
Enjoy the read! And if you have any questions or remarks, please let us know.
